Welcome Back! 


I hope you all had a well rested holiday break. It sure went fast. Looking forward to kicking this new year off with strong routines and habits to set our class up for a year of success. I know the January-March stretch can seem long and at times, we begin to long for warm summer days. However, this time of year in first grade is so critical. This is where we see the magic happen for first graders. They begin to take off in reading and grasp math concepts. Please set your firstie up for success with good daily reading habits and a good nighttime routine to set them up for success the next day. 

Snow Gear

With the winter weather, we have added winter gear. Please make sure you label your students hats, mittens, scarves, and anything else that you might send with your student. I am also going to give each student a cubbie for their snow gear. They are welcome to leave their things at school if you want them to.

      Week 8  October 26-30 Look What’s happening this week…  Monday  10-26 SEL Tuesday 10-27 Gym Wednesday 10-28 Art Late Start Thursday 10-29 Music Friday  10-30 Media Return Library Books Halloween Party Halloween Party Children may wear their costumes all day on October 30.  Please avoid bulky pieces and do not send weapons.  In the afternoon we will have a party.  Thank you to all who’ve offered to send in supplies. Food items must be individually packaged, store bought items. Classroom reminders  Please remember to send students with a water bottle and two snacks.  We break in both the morning and afternoon for snacks.  Thanks!
