Our grading is a 1-4 scale.  The target by the end of the year is for students to earn 3s.  This early in the year it is typical for students to have 2s and even some 1s.  If you see a 2 in an area of study that means your child is moving along toward that end of the year goal.  If you see a 1 that’s an indication that it’s time to devote some extra time to that skill. 4s are given when a child has exceeded the goal for the end of the year. You will notice that not every standard has been assessed at this time.  I have only recorded grades for topics that have been taught and worked on in class.   Good afternoon parents, I wanted to give you some information about what tomorrow is going to look like.  I have adapted the district remote learning plan schedule for our first grade.  I understand that the schedule might not work for all of you. It is ok if you can't connect at every time.
