Halloween Party

Children may wear their costumes all day on October 30.  Please avoid bulky pieces and do not send weapons.  In the afternoon we will have a party.  Unfortunately, snacks need to be store-bought this year.  I am hoping to have families contribute. There are 19 students in our class.

Academic Update

We will:

  • Visualize and analyze characters in fiction text

  • Practice the digraph ck

  • Apply addition strategies: making ten, using the commutative property, counting on, and part-part whole

  • Continue reading and learning about space

  • Write about our families

  • Develop our Daily 5 stamina

  • Work on our whole body listening

Food items must be individually packaged, store bought items.
