We are:

  • Continuing our study of digraphs (th, wh, ph)

  • Writing about main idea and details 

  • Continuing to expand our Daily 5 repertoire

Conferences

This year all conferences will be virtual via Google Meets. Thank you to everyone who has already selected a time.  If you haven’t had a chance,  please complete this sign up as soon as possible.

Mr. Hubble will talk about some details about Halloween in his blog.  I am attaching a sign up sheet if you are interested in providing anything for our class party.  Sign up for halloween

  • Look for sh and ch words with your child in the car, in books, around the home

  • Practice spelling words together such as: ship, chat, chart, short

  • Addition/Subtraction flash cards

  • Become star gazers/track the phases of the moon/observe the days getting shorter

  Week 7  October 19-23 Look What’s happening this week…  Monday  10-19 No School for Students  Tuesday 10-20 Gym Wednesday 10-21 Art Late Start Thursday 10-22 Music Friday  10-23 Media Return Library Books Halloween Party Children may wear their costumes all day on October 30.  Please avoid bulky pieces and do not send weapons.  In the afternoon we will have a party.  Unfortunately, snacks need to be store-bought this year.  I am hoping to have families contribute.
