  Week 34 May 17-21 Look What’s happening this week…  Monday  5-17 Wear your Positivity Project Shirt Focus: Other People Mindset SEL Tuesday  5-18 Gym Wednesday 5-19 Late Start Art Thursday  5-20 Music Friday  5-21 Library Return Library Books First balloon pop (Popsicle day to be enjoyed today)  Second balloon pop for Monday (no shoes during daily 5) SHHH... it’s a surprise   Hi Parents.  We want to make the last few weeks in first grade really special for your students’.  Starting on Friday, we will pop a balloon each day.  Each balloon will have a fun activity for the students to do on the next day of school.  Some of them include dressing up a certain way, a special treat, or a fun outdoor activity.  I will post the days for you all to see so you can plan ahead but please do NOT share with your student.  There are four days that include a treat.  If you would be willing to donate any items, please click this link and sign up.  Thank you for all your support this year and we are e

  Week 33 May 10-14 Look What’s happening this week…  Monday  5-10 Wear your Positivity Project Shirt Focus: Other People Mindset SEL Animal Project collection begins!  Students will be displaying their work for the next couple weeks in the Media Center and in the hallway.  The students have worked so hard and we are very proud of them! Tuesday  5-11 Gym Wednesday 5-12 Late Start Art Thursday  5-13 Music Friday  5-14 Library Return Library Books NWEA testing  We began testing last week and will wrap up by the end of this week. We’ve been breaking up the test into smaller chunks where possible.   Thank you! I am so grateful for all of the kind words, gifts, cards, and flowers last week. This year has had its challenges but I have truly enjoyed each day with your first graders. Thank you for sharing your students with me.
